Congratulations to Jan Hacker, our April 2023 EconHero!

Jan is an award-winning educator at John Burroughs High School in Burbank, CA. She currently teaches on-level economics and AP Macro, but she often takes on other social studies classes too. 

On top of her demanding teaching duties, Jan regularly participates in professional development programs. She also mentors new economic educators and scores AP economics exams each summer. 

We tip our hats to Jan for her dedication to her students and her craft.
