VOTE: International Trade
Voices On The Economy (VOTE) is a Tucson-based, award-winning program that teaches educators to present diverse perspectives in a balanced and accurate way so that students can make up their own minds about what they believe and find their own voices on the issues.
Join us for a free, one-day workshop that will delve into the issue of International Trade, looking at it from the radical, conservative, and liberal perspectives. What are their different policy ideas? (Fair Trade? Free Trade? Trade Protections?) How does each perspective analyze the problem? Hands-on exercises will bring the material alive, and we will provide you with lesson plans and other materials so you can bring these ideas back to your classrooms.
