Congratulations to Kelly Lipinksi our April 2026 EconHero!

Kelly teaches economics, college economics in the high school, and geography atSt. Francis High School in St. Francis, Minnesota.

Staff at the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) nominated Kelly for this honor, explaining that he "consistently goes beyond traditional instruction to bring economic concepts to life." Kelly contributes to professional development initiatives with MCEE and his students compete in their annual Econ Challenge. What's more, Kelly recently co-developed a minimum wage lesson that recently received a Platinum Award from the National Association of Economic Educators. 

We are thrilled to recognize Kelly and shine a light on the excellent work he is doing in Minnesota!
