Congratulations to Patrick Johnson our February 2026 EconHero!

Patrick teaches on-level economics and civics as well as AP Micro and Macro at Nashua High School North in Nashua, New Hampshire.

We were impressed by Patrick's regular participation in a variety of professional learning opportunities as well as his support for colleagues teaching economics for the first time. In addition to his regular teaching responsibilities, Patrick is advising a student who is conducting an independent research project on income inequality.

When we reached out to Patrick he told us that what he loves most about teaching is "helping students apply the economic way of thinking to real-world situations." He added, "It's exciting to watch them grow more curious and confident in discussing current events." We couldn't agree more!
