Congratulations to Amber Kester our March 2026 EconHero!

Amber says she has "always wanted to teach economics" and was taking workshops offered by the Minnesota Council for Economic Education even before she was able to add econ to her schedule. She's now in her second year teaching economics and also teaches geography/ethnic studies at Central High School in Norwood Young America, Minnesota.

We were impressed by Amber's participation in professional learning opportunities and implementation of active, engaging lesson plans to support the development of strong economic thinkers.
