November 2026 EconHero

Congratulations to Jessica White, our November 2026 EconHero!

Jessica teaches Business Management, Economics & Personal Finance, and Design, Multimedia & Web Technologies at Massaponax High School in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

A former student nominated Jessica for this honor, praising her passion for teaching and her ability to connect economics to novel topics like Mario Kart, Pokémon cards, and Broadway musicals. She also shared that Jessica's classroom was, "one of the coziest places in the building."

Upon hearing the news Jessica told us, "My favorite part about teaching economics is how easily it can be connected to every content area and aspect of our everyday lives. It allows students to apply their prior knowledge and personal experiences to what we're learning in class and provides the opportunity for each student to see how they can shape the future."

We are proud to shine a light on Jessica's dedication and innovative teaching.
