Congratulations to Kelly Apffel, our October 2023 EconHero!

Kelly teaches AP Economics and Global Studies at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, New Jersey. After 19 years in the classroom Kelly's enthusiasm for teaching economics shows no sign of waning. She was nominated by a fellow Econiful member and AP reader who expressed admiration for Kelly's passion and creativity as an educator, writing "I can't even imagine what an honor it would be to be a student in her classroom!"
