September 2022 EconHero

Let us introduce you to Bill Betthauser, our September 2022 EconHero. Bill teaches economics and other social studies courses at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia. He tells us his goal "is to create active learning opportunities in the classroom while also emphasizing problem solving, collaboration, and global understanding."

Bill has a YouTube channel called Bettland Economics where he creates short videos about how economic concepts apply to our world.

Bill is a big fan of professional development - he'll be at CEE's 2022 conference at the end of September - and he serves as an AP Microeconomics reader in the summer. Hats off to Bill!
